[0:00] The sixth pillar of Iman is belief in Qadar, which means belief in the divine decree of God. [0:40] Muslims believe that God knows all things and that nothing happens without His knowledge and permission. [1:25] Belief in Qadar does not mean we sit and do nothing. We are still required to make effort, work hard and make good choices. [2:15] The Prophet taught us to tie our camel and then trust in God. This means we take all sensible steps and then leave the result to God. [3:00] When the outcome is not what we hoped, belief in Qadar gives us patience and peace, knowing God's wisdom is greater than ours.
