[0:00] Physical fitness is the ability of the body to carry out daily tasks and sport with energy and without quick tiredness. [0:40] Key components include strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, speed, power and agility. [1:25] Power is strength used quickly; activities like the standing long jump and shot put demonstrate explosive power. [2:05] Cardiovascular endurance lets the heart and lungs keep supplying oxygen, as needed in long-distance running. [2:45] A balanced routine mixes these components so the whole body becomes strong, supple and quick.
