[0:00] Oral literature is literature spoken aloud and passed from one generation to the next by word of mouth, long before it was ever written down.
[0:45] It includes narratives like folktales and legends, songs, proverbs, riddles, and tongue-twisters. Each genre entertains while teaching values and wisdom.
[1:35] A proverb is a short, wise saying. For example, 'Haraka haraka haina baraka' reminds us that rushing carelessly brings no blessing.
