[0:00] Fluent reading sounds smooth and natural, like talking. It has three parts: accuracy, a steady speed, and expression that matches the meaning.
[0:45] Read aloud daily, even for five minutes. Follow the punctuation: pause at commas, stop at full stops, and let your voice rise for questions.
[1:30] When you meet a new word, do not panic. Use context clues, the words around it, to guess its meaning before reaching for a dictionary.
[2:20] You can also break words into parts. 'Un-' means not, so 'unfair' means not fair. '-able' means able to be, so 'readable' means able to be read.
[3:10] Keep a small vocabulary notebook. Write each new word, its meaning, and your own sentence using it. A rich vocabulary makes you a powerful speaker and writer.
